  • Computer Forensics
    A wealth of information can be gathered from the modern computer, but it only provides insight when given context. N1D forensic investigators interface with clients to demystify the process of forensic imaging and analysis, bringing clarity and ease to even the most complex of cases.

    N1D has experience preserving and analyzing artifacts from a variety of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, and many Linux distributions. A wide variety of industry-standard tools are utilized.
  • Mobile Device Forensics
    As mobile devices move to the forefront of modern technology, their value as evidence in digital investigations grows exponentially. N1D uses the same tools available to law enforcement agencies (UFED Cellebrite, Blackbag Mobilyze) to preserve the maximum amount of mobile data available from hundreds of different devices and analyze it to provide content such as:

  • Cloud Forensics
    Cloud data storage has quickly become ubiquitous world-wide, providing an easy way for users to store their information (documents, photos, email, videos, etc.) in a private remote location. Unfortunately, cloud data storage can also be used as a means for nearly-untraceable data exfiltration, making it a primary target of the modern forensic investigation.

    Use of digital video recording (DVR) surveillance systems has exploded, often becoming an important source of evidence during an investigation. There are several issues when trying to preserve, collect and recover video from the endless variety of DVR systems in a forensically sound manner. N1D has extensive experience with DVR forensics and has multiple tools and methodologies to conduct forensic examinations of DVR systems. We have conducted DVR forensics for a multitude of investigations, including arson, corporate espionage, and theft of intellectual property.
